$100 Thank You Gift Cards Available to First 250 Vaccinated.

Monroe County Executive Adam Bello today announced vaccine 'thank you' gift cards will be offered at pediatric vaccine clinics scheduled to begin on January 18 at three Rochester City Schools. Children from ages 5-11 receiving the vaccine must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at each visit. The first 250 participants will receive $100 in gift cards given in two increments — a $50 gift card for the first dose, and a $50 gift card for the second dose. Gift cards will be provided to the parent or guardian accompanying each child.

“Pediatric cases of COVID are on the rise and the best defense is the safe and effective COVID-19 vaccine,” said Monroe County Executive Adam Bello. “Both Superintendent Myers-Small and I want to keep our kids safe and in school. The collaboration with the Rochester City School District expands further our vaccine access sites throughout Rochester.”

“I am grateful to County Executive Bello for the tremendous opportunity the county is giving our students and families,” said Rochester City School District Superintendent Dr. Lesli Myers- Small. “It is extremely important that people get vaccinated. These clinics provide a vehicle to minimize the spread of COVID-19.”

The sites below are participating in the thank you gift card incentive until supplies run out:

January 18 - Mary McLeod Bethune School No. 45, 1445 Clifford Avenue, 14621

January 25 - Roberto Clemente Public School No. 8, 1180 St. Paul Street, 14621

January 27 - Helen Barrett Montgomery School No. 50, 301 Seneca Avenue, 14621

Appointments are encouraged, but walk-ins are also welcome. Appointments are available via www.monroecounty.gov. All clinics run from 4-7 p.m. and are in addition to the county’s regularly scheduled COVID-19 vaccination sites.
