Description of Duties
This position, in the Monroe County Planning and Development Department is responsible for conducting research and providing subject related advice. It will involve the understanding of sociocultural factors that contribute to social impact, specifically focused on underrepresented communities. This position will be responsible for analyzing data, conducting surveillance activities to identify trends, and performs statistical analysis. Employee reports to Research Coordinator or higher level staff member. Does related work as required.
Minimum Qualifications
PROPOSED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma plus EITHER:
(A) Graduation with a Master’s degree, plus five (5) years’ paid full time or its part time equivalent experience in research, and working with community based participatory research, or applied research; OR,
(B) Graduation with a doctorate, plus three (3) years’ experience as outlined in (A) above.
