Description of Duties
This is a professional library position which involves work of a specialized nature in one or more aspects of library service. This employee works under general supervision of, and reports directly to, a professional librarian. General supervision may be exercised over the work of Librarians I and non‑professional staff members.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must be permanently employed in the competitive class at Fairport Public Library and must have served continuously on a permanent basis for twelve (12) months holding the position of Librarian I immediately preceding the date of the written test.
