Getting an annual vaccination is the single best way to prevent contracting flu. Everyone 6 months of age and older should be vaccinated. The very young and the very old are at greatest risk. See your doctor, visit a pharmacy, a public clinic, or schedule an appointment at the Monroe County Department of Public Health by calling 753-5150. No walk-ins accepted. Protect yourself and your family, get a flu shot!
