Description of Duties
This is an entry level professional position in the Monroe County Department of Public Health focusing on providing nutrition and lactation counseling, and related client services to socio-economically disadvantaged women, their infants, and children. The employee reports directly to and works under the general supervision of a higher level staff member. Does related work as required.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition Sciences, Community Nutrition, Clinical or Human Nutrition, Dietetics, Foods and Nutrition or Public Health Nutrition.
