Public Health Program Coordinator, prov.
Description of Duties
This position is responsible for coordinating community health assessment activities for the Department of Public Health aimed at community health improvement. Work involves analysis and evaluation of statistical data, program planning, and managing special surveillance and research projects. General supervision is exercised over a subordinate staff. The employee reports directly to, and works under the general supervision of, the Epidemiology Manager or other administrator. Does related work as required.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma, plus EITHER:
(A) Graduation with a Master’s degree plus three (3) years paid full-time or its part-time equivalent experience in the collection, analysis, reporting, and presentation of data; OR,
(B) Graduation with a Bachelor’s degree plus five (5) years paid full-time or its part-time equivalent experience as defined by the limits of (A) above; OR,
(C) An equivalent combination of education and experience as defined by the limits of (A) and (B) above.
